Thank you everyone for coming out and joining us at Niagara College this weekend!  Spring Showcase was a success in more ways than one!  The event management staff would like to thanks friends, family, students, parents, the community, media , sponsors, all the vendors, faculty and staff and everyone who helped make this weekend fantastic! We could  not have done it without all of you; and we hope everyone who attended enjoyed themselves and learned a thing or two about what this awesome college has to offer.

Niagara College is celebrating the arrival of spring with the annual Spring Showcase – In Your Backyard event, which includes the 42nd Annual Horticultural Open House and Plant Sale on April 2 and 3, 2011 at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus.The popular event has recently grown to include the work and talents of students in the College’s culinary, wine, brewery, esthetics, golf management, hairstyling, hospitality and tourism, and environmental program areas.

The two-day event features guest speakers, plant and other vendor sales and many student demonstrations and competitions. Both days will include plant sales and a children’s discovery centre in the greenhouse, student displays in N101, N102 and the gym, vendor marketplace on the lower level, brewery tours and tastings, winery tours and tastings at the Wine Visitor + Education Centre, hairstyling in E106, and indoor golf simulation in E107.
